A reader wrote into us with a report about the Shoshanna & Anlo sample sale in the Garment District.  She stopped in yesterday and reports samples starting at $35 and swimsuits at $15.

Most merchandise was marked by colored dots priced from $75 to $150.  The bikinis were $35 a piece (top or bottom) there were 2 bins for loose separates at $5.  There was a bin of belts ($5), bin of sweaters ($10).  Also there were actual samples – dresses & coats were $50 and the rest was $35.  They had really cute bathing suits for $15.  Overall, really cute stuff but the sample dresses were definitely on the small side and some of them were damaged or stained.

Our tipster was looking for a bikini but she didn’t find any styles she liked.  Both cash and credit cards are accepted.
