The Steven Alan sample sale kicks off this afternoon in Soho. There’s tons of merchandise, probably more clothing for men.

We’ll do a separate write up for men. This one is for the ladies.

If you like accessories and shoes, you should start downstairs. That’s where you’ll find lots of different styles of footwear for women from flats, sandals, heels and boots. All non-Steven Alan brands are 75% off retail, including Isabel Marant Birkenstocks, No. 6 clogs, Robert Clergerie, MM6, A.P.C., Creatures of Comfort, Acne Studios, Rachel Comey and more. The catch is not all sizes are represented. The merchandise is overstock so whatever is out is what they have on offer. This is a pretty good deal. For example, we spotted the Robert Clergerie Paga Raffia Sneaker for $98 (was tagged at $395). Steven Alan footwear are all $75.

In bins are a variety of bags (75% off third party brands but Steven Alan handbags are just $60). There are also summer straw hats as well as felt hats.

On the main floor, you’ll find the apparel. Women are on one side along a wall. Fall items appeared to be better represented. Although, there were plenty of summery tops. Better deals can be had on Steven Alan pieces (starting at $35 for tees/polos and topping out at $95 for outerwear) which can be found toward the front of the space. Towards the back are other brands, including Isabel Marant Etoile (dresses were going fast!), Hope, Demylee, A.P.C, Rachel Comey, Nili Lotan and more.

A limited selection of eyewear can be found near the registers, ranging in price from $50-$65). We expect restocking to happen throughout the sale since it goes through Monday, June 20th. But you should head over there sooner rather than later if you want better selection.

An important note:  there are no dressing rooms and no mirrors only one mirror on the sales floor. Some shoppers were trying things on over their clothing. If you plan to do that, make sure to dress appropriately before heading over to this sale.
