After a Sally tipster reported that ready-to-wear was discounted an additional 50% off the sale price, I had to see what was left at the Prada sample sale in Hell’s Kitchen.  I stopped by late Monday around 6pm to find no line and no crowd.  The sale organizers replenished the handbag table with the same bags that I found on Saturday. Lying there were several Prada Cervo Antik totes for $1,200 (was $1,895). There were also a number of the Vela bags going for under $400.  A few snakeskin bags embellished with stones going for between $1,200 to $3,000 and a mix of embellished clutches under $1,000.  The shoes were now going for $150.  But not much to choose from in smaller sizes – mostly sandals left and no boots.  If you are a 38, 39 or 40, you’ll find more.  I thought some of the sandals weren’t bad, some were even cute.  I spotted an abundance of the croc loafers for men.  There were still tons of women’s clothing for around $150; pants, dresses and skirts from seasons past, spring sweaters and a smattering of odd pieces.  The additional 50% off the sale price certainly makes the merchandise more affordable.  Sale organizers say they will be replenishing with the same stuff throughout the week.  Since the sale goes until this Friday (10/23), they may slash prices further.
