If you can’t make it to the Loro Piana sale at Soiffer Haskin on West 33rd Street near Penn Station by tomorrow (last day)… Don’t worry.  There’s another one taking place in the Meatpacking District thru the weekend (curious). I’ve not been to this week’s sale at Soiffer Haskin but they informed us today that they’re offering further discounts (the second since the sale began on Sunday).  Previous sales there offered deals at 50-80% off the original retail price.

Like Brunello Cucinelli, this luxury Italian label is exclusively expensive; made in Italy of the finest wool and cashmere. Past sales (see here and here), brought prices for cashmere sweaters down to around $500, scarves were tagged $400, blazers & jackets at $1,000+.

As for the sale at the MePa kicking off tomorrow, organizers aren’t affiliated with Loro Piana so it appears that they’re a thrid party selling overstock from previous season.  The location for this sale is the same one where the Dolce & Gabbana sale took place earlier this month.

We’re told that this weekend’s sale will feature more than 3,000 cashmere sweaters, pants, skirts, suits, dresses, shirts, outerwear, and accessories for 70-80% off retail.  Due take note if you’re thinking of bringing along the little one.  No children will be admitted.

Where/When:  407 W. 13th Street (b/w 9th Ave & Washington).  April 26-29. Daily (11-7p).
