Universal Standard has gained a following among plus-size shoppers. Through the end of today (May 19th), the sample sale in Soho has offered further reductions. As Fashionable Femme Jen who is far from a plus-size has found, there’s plenty on offer for all sizes at the sale. Here’s her report:

Strolling through Soho this Sunny Saturday, the new markdowns at Universal Standard catch my eye. With a day remaining, the “Sale end” pricing is quite good for the solid colored tees, tanks, dresses and more.

Most items are 50% off sample sale pricing! There is a large selection left–in all colors and sizes.

The tees–made of Peruvian cotton–feel especially luxe. The tee dresses are comfortable for summer and the sweaters are super soft. While the cut may be a bit more “boxy” or flowy versus fitted and body con, the quality and comfort makes the pricing a bargain! Beyond the clothing, Universal Standard’s concept of “Fit Liberty” is quite inspirational.

Watch out when shopping–an “XS” translates to a Size 10-12. The traditional “XS/0-00″ is actually a 4XS. Worth the walk to have a look at the brand’s basics.” – Fashionable Femme Jen of Style Curated.
