Yesterday evening’s preview to the Ulla Johnson sample sale was incredibly busy. If that’s a tell-tale sign, expect lines to get in. At least for today’s opening. The sale is taking place at 150 Greene Street in Soho and goes through this Sunday, July 1.

The designer is a Manhattan native and traveler who gets inspiration from the places she visits. Think batik prints, embroidery, fringe details. Her bohemian collections are defined by natural fibers, beautiful finishing, and ease of fit and form.

Here you’ll find lots of her trademark boho-style dresses ($100-$225) and tops ($95-$145) which are the standouts at this sale. Perfect for spring and summer. Some of the pieces on sale were still on the website for regular price.

Chunky sweaters and cardigans were also worth checking out at just $150.

Besides apparel, there are also handbags ($95-$495) and accessories near the register. All footwear is tagged at $150 and can be found at the end of the space.

There is a communal dressing room and the line to try on was so long that some shoppers opted to buy things without trying them on.
