Local NYC retailer OTTE is offering additional discounts on already markdown fall/winter merchandise. We made a quick stop Wednesday evening to find that they’re giving an extra 40% off the sale price.

As we enter February… retailers are wrapping up their end-of-season sales and making room for new merchandise. Wednesday’s warm weather was a nice reminder that spring is just ahead of us. I took the opportunity to check out the deals at the Park Slope Bird location. It was no surprise that sale items are pretty much picked over.

If you’re still looking for holiday gifts, there’s plenty of sale options this weekend. That’s why I took the day to go sale hopping. This morning, I made my first stop at Chantecaille where I managed to find a few gifts and some things for myself… Next stop, Wooster Street where Suno, Carlos Campos, Dieppa Restrepo and Illesteva have teamed up with merchandise for both men & women.

Due to Hurricane Irene, the warehouse sale at Bird’s boutique in Park Slope, Brooklyn is closed this weekend. However, they’ve extended the sale through this Wednesday. For all of you who wanted to stop in this weekend… it’s worth checking out.
I dropped by on Thursday evening and the scene was really chill – a lot calmer than the madness over at the Barneys Warehouse Sale in Chelsea. Lots of great labels at up to 75-percent off retail.

As we head into mid-summer… Brooklyn’s chain boutique, Bird, is now offering up to 75 percent off its spring/summer merchandise. The deals are being offered at the store locations in Cobble Hill, Park Slope and Williamsburg… as well as online. In surveying on Bird’s e-commerce site, we found quite a number of the pieces on sale are already out-of-stock. However, there were still some deals to be had. We spotted several Ligne 6 – Martin Margiela dresses: a print stretch dress is $99 (was $205); denim tank dress is now $159 (was $330); a shift dress is $269 ($535). 3.1 Phillip Lim marino/cashmere cardigan is now $169 (was $350). Rachel Comey cropped tee is now $169 (was $345) and a Rachel Comey cotton cardigan is now $179 (was $295). A Suno melon bib tank is $139 (was $275) and a Suno embroidered front panel dress is $279 (was $565).
