Since I couldn’t make it into the Butter Shoes sample sale last week, I popped into this airy spacious showroom across from FIT this morning. While the first day of the sale cleaned them out of many pairs, they still had plenty of styles left (500 pairs of shoes, 150 are showroom samples). Let me start with the samples (size 37 only!) which are all priced at $60. You’ll find them in the middle the room on a table and on the floor. There are great summer styles and colors to be had (including the nude that’s popular this season). In the mix of samples are shoes by Butter, Betty Muller and Something Bleu. A pair of Betty Muller 50s-style pumps with a kitten heel caught my eye… And for $60, how could you go wrong for shoes made in Italy?

Fabulous deals on sandals, espadrilles, flats, peep-toes and platforms. Sale organizers have made pricing simple. All stock shoes are $100 and sample shoes are just $60. After taking the weekend off, the folks over at the Butter showroom in the Garment District resumed their sample sale this morning. The sale goes through this Wednesday… I made a brief stop this morning to find out what they had left. First off, there was still a pretty good selection of sample shoes at $60 (boots $140). And if you’re a size 37 (7), you’re in luck since most of these are actual showroom samples.
The NYC based footwear company, Butter, has teamed up with Bettye Muller for a sample sale which starts this morning. There’s a wide selection of boots, flats, peep-toes and platforms. Prices range from $60 to $250 (retailed for $250-$700). If you’re a sample size 37, there’s deals to be had on sample shoes which are priced at just $60.

If you’re a sample size (that means size 37), then you’ll do well at the Butter sample sale in Midtown. I checked out the goods on Friday night where the scene was fairly quiet with only a handful of shoppers there looking around. On offer is a large assortment of strappy sandals, high heels, flats, peep-toes, platforms and more. Great if you’re a size 37, which I happen to be. The actual samples are all tagged at $60. Scattered around the label’s showroom was a limited selection of stock footwear in other sizes, which were going for $100. I spotted mostly shoes by Butter. However, a few Tibi, Bettye Muller and Something Bleu were also mixed into the sale. Note: Staffers are only taking CASH.
