 Twice a year, Steven Alan hosts a sample sale in Tribeca. And if any of you have been to the designer’s sales, you’ll know how massive it is. So much merchandise, including his own label as well as a slew of other brands. I always find his sales overwhelming. We checked it out last night during press preview. 
What: A shopping event this weekend offers up a long list of designer labels to benefit relief efforts in Japan. More than 60 designers (Alexander Wang, Band of Outsiders, Derek Lam, DVF, Marc by Marc Jacobs, Opening Ceremony, Rachel Comey. Let me start with the denim (lots) hanging on two long racks and organized by size.
