For two days, the NYC based retailer, Project No. 8, is hosting a sample sale at its LES boutique on Orchard Street. The retailer features a well-curated range of collections and accessories from international as well as American brands. I went into the Lower East Side boutique, Project No. 8, Thursday evening thinking it was just another summer sample sale until I overheard the store manager speaking with one of her customers saying that the shop was closing for good… What a shame. Stores come and go but this one will [...] The sale this time around at Project No. 8 was not as good as the one back in August (when we shot video). I came into the boutique before they closed and was disappointed to find just several racks of clothing and a few bins on the floor (contained wool short scarves at $40). [...] 
While many of us are waiting for the Barneys Warehouse Sale, this weekend’s end-of-season sale being held at the boutiques, Project No. 8 and No. 8b, is well worth the trip. I checked out the goods yesterday and found some fabulous deals. The women’s shop, Project No. 8, carries mostly [...] |
