Now that the warm weather has finally arrived, a number of retailers are kicking off the summer with markdowns… Here’s a few worth noting:

The Brooklyn boutique chain Bird is offering 35 percent off retail prices on select styles online, including a 3.1 Phillip Lim draped neck sleeveless merino sweater that was $350 is now $229,  a Zero + Maria Cornejo knit cardigan is now $339 (was $530), a Ligne 6 – Martin Margiela string detail shift dress is now $349 (was $535).

And the department stores have joined in…  Saks Fifth Avenue is giving 40 percent off on select items for women, 30 percent off for men.  Get 25 to 65 percent off at Bloomingdale’s (in store and online) during its Holiday weekend “Big Brown Bag Sale.”  Deals of up to 40 percent off can be had at Bergdorf Goodman.
