The IF Soho New York basement sale ends today… Fellow sale hound, Larry Label Whore, ventured downstairs to have a look. Not sure what he was expecting, he did find some notable deals:
“While everyone was focused on the Barneys sale, I made my way down to the IF basement sale in Soho after reading Sally’s review on it. After hearing all of the bad reviews on the Barneys Warehouse Sale, I decided to skip it this time around. It was my first time at the IF sale so I was excited to see the selection. I have to say for it being the second to last day I was pleasantly surprised.
The popular basement sale at the IF Boutique in Soho started on Wednesday. The store is a staple for avant-garde pieces including creations from Junya Watanabe (Commes des Garçons), Dries Van Noten, Maison Martin Margiela and more.

The Scoop Warehouse Sale goes for another couple of weeks, giving us plenty of time to check it out. Fashionable Femme Jen stopped in over the weekend. She reports on a pretty good selection of high-end designer goods, except for the handbags…
“A Sunday afternoon stroll in Soho brought me towards the Scoop Warehouse sale. Unlike its sister store in the Meatpacking District, this Scoop store seems to have a decent designer sale selection. Here’s a snippet of the women’s offerings.
The Margiela for H&M collection isn’t for everyone. If you go into an H&M, you’ll likely find pieces from the line, which launched last week still hanging on the racks. Fashionable Femme Jen went into a New Jersey mall over the weekend and found the store there pretty well stocked. Here’s her report:
Mounds of Maison Martin Margiela merchandise remain at the H&M in Paramus, NJ. This weekend, I visit my parents and take the opportunity to swing by Paramus Park Mall, one of the H&M’s outside of NYC carrying the Margiela collection. Unlike NYC, the full women’s (and most of the men’s) selection seems intact with many sizes of each item left.
