If you’re like us and you can’t get enough of lingerie, head over to the Journelle sample sale in the Flatiron. It opens to the public on Tuesday. The VIP preview was held Monday night, which we attended in order to scope out the offerings as well as walk out with a few goodies.

The small Japanese lingerie boutique in Soho, Kaoiri’s Closet is hosting its winter sale through the end of January. We’re told that select merchandise is up to 50% off the original retail price. Plus, with every $100 you spend, you’ll also receive a $10 gift card. Some of the deals include the following: La vie A Deux bra is now $42 (was $85) and panty is $17.50 (was $35.00), an Elle Macpherson bra is now $44 (was $55) and an Etoile bra is $57 (was $96) the matching panty is $25 (was $42). A Steamy First Day of the La Perla Sample Sale

The first day of the the La Perla sample sale got off to a busy and hot start yesterday. While it was already humid outside, it was even hotter inside the Flatiron space. I went with a friend from L-A and she had to leave after half-an-hour. They had fans going but the air conditioner didn’t appear to be working. Those who remained frantically went through the bins, grabbing what they liked. And that was the thing to do – collect the items that caught your eye (in your size) and take your pile into a corner to make your decision. There are no dressing rooms here so you’d better know your size. As we all know, it’s final sale!
First Day of the La Perla Sample Sale

The La Perla sample sale kicked off today at Noon. Check out what the line looked like an hour after opening. Not too bad. But once you get inside, be prepared to perspire! It was crowded and hot. Stay tuned for a full report later today. But pricing is pretty much the same as previous sales (mostly 60% off retail). Main collection bras are $80. Diffusion line bras are now $30-$50.
