The revolving sample sale spot in Midtown, Clothingline, is hosting yet another J.Crew sample sale…This one offers plenty of sweaters (wool and cashmere).  There were tons hanging on the racks in the main room.  Be prepared to spend time going through the racks.  The merchandise is organized by style but the sizes are mixed in.  I spotted mostly sample sizes (4 and 6).  But if you look hard enough, you’ll find smaller and larger sizes mixed in.  Cashmere sweaters are starting at $50 (for short-sleeved and sleeveless).  Wool sweaters, shirts and cotton tops are $35.

Also on offer are dresses (including party dresses $90 or 2 for $150 and long silk dresses for $125).  You’ll also find wool outerwear ($149) – they’re hanging on a rack in the back.  There’s a limited selecion of jackets and blazers ($70).  There are a number of racks of pants and skirts starting at $30.  As for footwear, there’s only a table of what look like rejects from past sales (shoes & boots are $99 or 2 for $150).  In terms of other accessories, you’ll find bins of scarves and a glass case of jewelry.  The selection for men is very limited – almost non-existent.  Just one rack of shirts and a few coats.  Sale goes through this Friday.
