L-A based luxe knit label, James Perse, is hosting yet another sample sale in New York this weekend. This one is being held at a space in the Flatiron. They’ve been hosting sample sales in NYC on a monthly basis lately.
On this, the last day of the James Perse sample sale at Chelsea market… we hear that they’ve slashed sale prices. Our contributer, Laura Baumgartner, checked out the sale Friday evening. She tells us it was a great sale from how well it was run to the fabulous deals she found:

Due to Hurricane Irene, the warehouse sale at Bird’s boutique in Park Slope, Brooklyn is closed this weekend. However, they’ve extended the sale through this Wednesday. For all of you who wanted to stop in this weekend… it’s worth checking out. I dropped by on Thursday evening and the scene was really chill – a lot calmer than the madness over at the Barneys Warehouse Sale in Chelsea. Lots of great labels at up to 75-percent off retail.

It’s a busy Privé Sample Sale weekend in the Chelsea Market where the James Perse sample sale is being held as well as other popular labels (Eli Tahari, Alice & Trixi, Juicy Couture, La Perla and more) are on offer. You’ll find James Perse inside the complex where women’s and men’s clothing are deeply discounted. Think basics… with the best deals on the lower level of the space. There were tanks going for $15, tees ranging in price from $25 to $30, knits & sweatshirts for $40, sweaters at $70 and more. The main level had men’s merchandise and women’s stuff (knits, jackets, sweatshirts and more) for 50 percent off the retail price.
