A woman leaving the Gucci friends & family sale had the right sentiment when she said “it’s total chaos. Get me out of here!” Thursday afternoon, not only was there a line to get into the sale, which was being held on the fifth floor of the Metropolitan Pavilion on W.18th Street [...] I walked by the Metropolitan Pavilion to find a long line – not for the Armani sale but a Gucci friends & family sale taking place today.
