As we mentioned in our weekly sales roundup… the Fred Perry semi-annual sample sale kicked off in Chelsea on Monday.  Fashionable Femme Jen made her way there and tells us that the selection was pretty good but sizing is limited.  Here’s her report:

“Upbeat music, friendly staffers, a good selection of merchandise and a light showing of polite shoppers define my idea of the “perfect” sample sale. This evening’s stroll through the Fred Perry sale finds a combination of all those elements and more. I just wish the pricing was a tad lower and that there were a few more items in smaller sizes! If you wear polo shirts in a Men’s Medium or Women’s 6, this sale may be worth trekking to the Westside for.

NYC Sample Sales – Thakoon, Yigal Azrouel, Fred Perry & More…

A few notable sample sales this week… Let’s start with the Thakoon sample sale which often has some great deals. We attended today’s preview to find plenty of merchandise (including pieces from the current spring season).  On offer were actual production pieces from the main collection and diffusion line (Thakoon Addition) in a run of sizes and actual samples. Plus, pieces from past seasons.  General prices ranged from $50-$200.  Where/When:  225 Varick (just north of Houston), Suite 300, NY, NY; April 30-May 3; Daily (8:30am-6:30pm).

Today, the Fred Perry semi-annual sample sale kicked off in Chelsea.  As with previous sales, shoppers will find men’s, women’s and kids apparel, accessories. Local NYC Black Friday Deals

Fred Perry is hosting a three-day sale offering up to 70% off the original price at the Williamsburg Grand Street shop.  You’ll find a wide selection of one-off and rare pieces.  If you can’t make it to Brooklyn, they’re also offering deals at the Soho store. VIDEO: Fred Perry Sample Sale

Starting today, the Avalon Group Showroom is hosting its semi-annual Fred Perry sample sale. There’s tons of merchandise, especially for men. Items include Fred Perry (apparel, accessories and shoes for both sexes), selected collaborations such as pieces from the Amy Winehouse collab, DS Dundee, Michael Bastian sunglasses. We caught up with the folks at the showroom last week and shot video… Jon Kalupa takes us through the racks.

Another Fred Perry Sale… This One is in Brooklyn

This weekend Fred Perry is celebrating its one year anniversary of the label’s Surplus Shop in Williamsburg with a sale.  We’re told that the store will have past season men’s and women’s merchandise at 70% off the original retail price.  Unlike the sale at the Avalon Group Showroom in West Chelsea, there will be no samples.  Here’s what you can expect:  Polo shirts are $21 (retailed for $70), chinos $33 (retailed at $110), dresses are $33 (retailed for $110), woven shirt at $24 (retailed at $78).  Sale starts tomorrow and goes through Sunday…

A Busy First Day of the Fred Perry Sample Sale

The Avalon Group Showroom in the far west end of Chelsea saw a mad rush today as the after work crowd showed up for the Fred Perry biannual sample sale. This sale is always very well-organized (men’s in one section and women’s in another). There’s always lots of merchandise on offer here.
