The shopping excursion in New Jersey was just the beginning for Larry… His curiosity got the best of him so he had to check out the end-of-season-sales at Saks Fifth Avenue, Bergdorf Goodman, and Barneys. Here’s Larry’s report:
I first stopped at the Saks consolidation sale and found a few racks of shoes. The signs say “up to 70% off” so I thought the deals would be better than the 60% off deals from the Fourth of July. I was WRONG!! Basically Saks just kept the same shoes on the racks with the same 60% discount and just stressed the words “UP TO.” I felt gypped!! I saw these great pair of Diesel sneakers for 60% off at $35, but didn’t get them out of principle. On top of that, the selection was picked over from the previous weeks AND the salespeople were so rude! (I was pretty shocked, to say the least).
