Up the street from Natori is the Eberjey sample sale… I always look forward to this semi-annual sale. It gives me the opportunity to update my undies and nighties. Designer Mariela Rovito’s pieces are made with great light weight fabrics, mixing cotton with lace in feminine prints and sophisticated solids. Great styles that you want to wear in bed and/or under your clothing. Mariela has a big following which explains why this morning’s friends & family preview was busy.

What: Expect another chaotic week at 260 Fifth Avenue with the J.Crew sample sale kicking off tomorrow. Jewelry, shoes, dresses and more for ladies (plus some Madewell pieces) and shirts, pants, jackets for men are up to 60 percent off. Where/When: 260 Fifth Ave., b/t 28th & 29th Sts. June 19-24; Tues-Sat (10-8p), Sun (Noon-5p).
What: Lauren Moffatt is hosting a sample sale at the designer’s studio in the Garment District. The sale will feature the spring 2012 collection. Great prices on dresses at $130 and tops, skirts, shorts & swimwear will be tagged at $90. Where/When: 214 W. 29th St, #1503 (b/w 7th & 8th Aves). June 19-20; Tues (8-7p), Wed (9-6p). Credit Card (for purchases over $250). Otherwise, you can pay CASH.
