Today is the last day of the DVF sample sale. If Thursday afternoon was any indication, we’re not sure what will be left on the last day. Artsy Anna reports on the shopping frenzy yesterday: The sales floor, once overflowing with clothing sized from 0-14, is now a free for all. DVF fans were out [...]  The Diane Von Furstenberg summer sample sale kicks off today. I happened to stop by yesterday afternoon during the friends & family preview. Quite a mob scene inside with a line that snaked around the back area for the dressing room and another wait for the cash registers. The narrow aisles between the racks [...] When I heard that the Shoe-Inn was holding another warehouse sale, I guess I shouldn’t have been surprised. They couldn’t sell all of the thousands of pairs of footwear they put out in the last sale, especially when many of them just weren’t worth buying. Could there actually be buyers for all these awful [...]
I popped in this morning to the Diane von Furstenberg sample sale which opened to the public today. There was a line down to the next block before they opened the doors. When I got in, I headed straight for the sample racks where items are $50. I was not impressed – [...] One of Sally’s sources was out today trying to find deals. She went to the DVF sale in the Flatiron district and waited an hour to get in. Apparently, it was a mob scene. She found some wrap dresses but the line to the dressing room was so long that she left empty handed. She [...] It appears that the Diane von Furstenberg preview sale on Monday just wasn’t enough for NYC women. Even before the doors opened today (the official start of the sale), there was a line around the block. Luckily, it moved quickly once they let people inside. But what a nightmare inside. The racks were so close [...] Despite Monday being the preview of the Diane von Furstenberg sale for VIP and “Friends & Family,” it was still a madhouse at the venue 260 Fifth Avenue as reported by sale blog Racked.com. Women were reportedly grabbing at clothing. Every DVF sale is the same and this appears to be no different.
