This afternoon, the line for the Dolce & Gabbana sample sale stretched down West 18th Street. The sale started this morning at 9am. After the Phillip Lim sample sale, I thought I’d check on this sale. But I just couldn’t see myself waiting in yet another line. I’ll have to head to this sale another day. We’re hoping that Sample Sale Diva made it inside… so she can give us a report. Let us know if you stopped in today and what you found.  
Dolce & Gabbana is hosting a sample sale at the Metropolitan Pavilion through this Sunday (March 14). On offer are cocktail dresses, jackets, tailored pants, handbags, shoes and more for 60 to 90 percent off the original retail price. There’s clothing and accessories for men, women and children from the 2009 [...] I couldn’t believe my eyes when I walked into this sale… the amount of merchandise was staggering. Both the Italian high-end (Dolce & Gabbana) and D&G lines are discounted. The D&G folks managed to fill the Metropolitan Pavilion on 18th Street with lots of goods – dresses, skirts, pants, and all sorts of accessories [...] |
