NYC-based footwear label Sigerson Morrison is taking a break this winter season. The swank brand’s e-site says it will be back in Spring 2012. For a few years now, I often stopped into the Nolita boutique on Prince Street looking for end-of-season deals… However this time, I was disappointed not to find the signature collection’s chic stylish shoes on display there. Instead, the sister label, Belle by Sigerson Morrison can be had.

As as the summer goes on, retailers offer further reductions. The discount at Sigerson Morrison is now at 50-percent off its current season footwear for the label’s main collection and select styles of its secondary Belle line. The deal can be had at the label’s boutiques and online.

Tall boots are now from $209 to $329 (originally $695 to $1095), ankle booties are now $149 to $218 (originally $495 to $725), a high heel black embossed leather pump is now $165 (was $550), flats are under $200, ranging in price from $128 to $149 (originally $450 to $495). At the store, the classic Ghillie ballet flats in gold leather really caught my eye (as I’m so ready for spring). It was on sale for $128 (was $425). There are a few clutches and handbags at 50 percent off… the large python bucket bag is now $1098 (was $2195). If you don’t want to trek to their stores in Manhattan, you can also check out the sale online, which has most of the styles.
