The American brand, SIMON MILLER, creates ready-to-wear and leather accessories. The designers draw inspiration from the American Southwest, modernism and the outdoors. Its collections are developed between the New York showroom and Los Angeles headquarters.
The brand is hosting a sample sale at its Canal Street showroom this weekend. To get there, you’ll need to walk up five flights. Once inside, the pieces are sparingly hung on racks in the large studio space. Men on one side, women’s merchandise on the other.
The label started in 2008 as a men’s denim brand and has expanded to offer men and women’s ready-to-wear as well as accessories. The handbags are among the highlights here with shapes and colors referencing Danish design and architecture. The ‘Bonsai’ bag (pictured in the gallery below) is made from butter-soft nubuck and has two polished gold rings. Another piece that caught our eye were the leather camis (pictured above).
