The New York-based design collective Aesthetic Movement launched, Minor History back in 2015. The label creates simple, modern leather accessories in both neutral and bold colors. This week, the brand is hosting a sample sale at its offices near Union Square.
We stopped in after work on Tuesday (the first day of the sale) and some styles had already sold out such as the highly sought-after backpack. But don’t despair. They’re apparently restocking this style tomorrow in green.
Other offers in include the half moon totes for $68 (orig. $275), the large Super Market tote for $75 (orig. $350), the magazine tote for $45 (orig. $195). Also available were a number of cross-body styles such as the Smile for $45 (orig. $130), the Daily Ledger for $50 (orig. $190), the Radio for $50 (orig. $195).
We also spotted one Full Moon (large cross-body) going for $50 (orig. $165) but that was snapped up by one lucky shopper!
As for small accessories, wallets were just $10, $20 and $25. The clutches were either $18 or $22 and there appeared to be a number of different color-ways.
We’re told they will be restocking some items tomorrow. Sale ends on Thursday.
