Tocca made its name with pretty feminine dresses worn by supermodels. A variety of summer dresses is what I found Wednesday afternoon at an airy Chelsea loft space when I popped in to check out the sale, dresses ($85) in all sort of colors and sizes (0-12). There were also skirts ($40), jackets ($85) and some knitwear ($35) – plus fabric handbags ($50). Some of Tocca’s popular candles were on offer such as Agadir (named after a Moroccan beach town) – large candles sold for $20, small ones at $10.
This was a well-organized sale with the merchandise hung on racks by size. Tocca’s sought after children’s clothing is also on sale – lots of pretty dresses ($40) for the girly little girl. At the sale, I spotted a little French girl who was training to be a successful shopper and doing a good job of picking out her own merchandise.
