If you wondered what happened to all that merchandise that doesn’t sell at the 260 Sample Sale events, there’s a depository of sorts in Soho on Wooster just north of Canal Street. Fashionable Femme Jen had a look over the weekend and tells us what she found:

“Sale shoes and select styles are on offer at serious discounts at 260 sample sale’s wooster street outpost. For the ladies, there is a table of mostly Size 7 / 37 shoes (of all sorts) on offer for $25 near the middle of the sale. Of note are a pair of Neiman Marcus tie up ballet flats in a colorful snakeskin pattern, black patent pumps by Tahari and orange AsH espadrilles. Other shoes are near the front with varying prices; brands include Maiyet (shoes are $50), Tamara Mellon, etc. In addition, Barbara Bui tops and bottoms at an 85% discount and assorted designer items from past sales are available at significant discount.

For the men, a table of Ben Sherman Shoes are on offer for $29. Assorted shoes–including ASH are $49 with Peuterey boots at $59. Assorted tees are on a rack for $10 a piece and John Varvatos pants ($29) and blazers ($95) with hit or miss sizing.
