In Manhattan’s NoMad district, the Montblanc sample sale at 260 Fifth Avenue is attracting lots of takers. One of them is our contributor, Fashionable Femme Jen who has our report:

“Dwindling stock and lots of shoppers cycle in and out of the Mont Blanc sample sale Wednesday afternoon. While signature fountain, rollerball and ballpoint pens ranged in price from $225 to $2500+, it seems to be a bargain, compared to the $700 to $5000+ original retail pricing. Of note are the Beatles special edition ballpoint pen (in box) for $325 (orig. $998), the Montblanc Meisterstuck Platinum Coated classique for $678 (orig. $1,695), the Meisterstuck Geometry Solitaire Champagne Gold LeGrand Fountain Pen for $660 (orig. $1,650) and the Black Starwalker Rubber Resin silver tone fineliner pen for $228 (orig. $570).

Accessories are abundant with several tables of small leather goods (key chains, wallets, folios, passport cases, card holders, etc.). Of note are an assortment of large notebooks for $40 each, a Montblanc Sartorial 1-Pen Foldable pouch for $48 (orig. $130) and a Meisterstuck soft grain zip wallet in beige for $260, down from $650. There is also one table of bags—going quick! The limit is 10 items. Large leather goods and timepieces are allotted an extra 25% off. A couple black rolling luggage pieces were on offer for $280.

When checking in, all wallets need to be checked in with jackets. Sale ends tomorrow, June 7th.” – Fashionable Femme Jen of Style Curated
