We stopped into Madeline Weinrib’s Showroom near the Flatiron after work yesterday. The iconic textile designer is closing her operations here after 20 Years. Her designs are bold and colorful that bring character to interiors. Her fans have counted on her hand-printed textiles, rugs, and vintage pieces. The sale offers plenty of coveted items.

The showroom was quiet when we stopped in. That was because they had just closed minutes before we got there. Tuesday was the first day of the sale which goes through the end of May. Apparently, it was very busy in the morning.

The spacious showroom has lots of treasures up for grabs. It depends on what you’re looking for. Available are bold colored rugs, pillows and accents for the home. There are also items for the kitchen and dining room such as eye catching dishes, bowls, tea pots and vases. The discount is 50% to 70% off retail.

Shoppers will also find a limited selection of bags and tunics as well as caftans.

The sale ends on May 19th. Click here to our Calendar Page for location/date/time details to this and other sale events in New York City.

If you’re in the neighborhood, it’s worth stopping by. You’ll likely find something that will go nicely in your home. As for what Madeline will be doing next, we hear that she plans to open a studio in New York this summer where she’ll embark on her next creative endeavors.
