Caroline Constas and lemlem have teamed up for a sample sale this week in Soho.

We aren’t too familiar with New York based designer Caroline Constas’ collection. But the sale drew plenty of her her fans who were out rummaging through racks on the first day looking for deals.

Constas is known for her breezy shirtdresses and off-the-shoulder tops in weightless cottons. The merchandise offered plenty of flouncy, feminine dresses ($175), blouses ($120) and other separates – many under $100. Gowns were $300 and jackets at $150. Also available were actual samples which were priced lower.  Check out the gallery for the full price list.

We primarily went to this sale to check out lemlem (designed by Supermodel Liya Kebede). These pieces are handwoven by artisans in Africa and they’re perfect for the beach or just hanging out on holiday during the summer.

There were signature lemlem handwoven, embroidered pieces (made in Ethiopia). Pricing was under $100 for sale items.
