We were in the neighborhood so we thought we’d check out the Jil Sander Navy sample sale taking place on Greene Street in Soho. We were shocked to see how empty the space was. Sale organizers obviously hit on the right price-points to move the merchandise so quickly. As some of our readers commented in an earlier post, many of the items were nabbed at the beginning of this sale.

What’s left has been combined into one long rack along a wall and a smaller one near the front. This down from 10 racks of apparel on the first day.

Just a handful of handbags are left. Check out the main picture of them in the gallery. That’s all that’s left. The choices include two Jil Sander damaged bags for $300!

Clothing highlights now are the grey suit jackets ($75) and pants ($35) which were going fast. There were a couple of puffer jackets by the main collection, Jil Sander still tagged at $500. Obviously, no one is going to buy them when they could have gotten Jil Sander Navy coats for just $100.

On tables are what’s left of overstock footwear ($50). On hand are a few Marc by Marc Jacobs pointy-toed sneakers, See by Chloe sneakers and wedges and some other one-off designer shoes.

At this point, there’s no reason to make a special trip to this sale. It has been wiped out!
