This Soho boutique caters to those who wear avant-garde pieces from labels such as Comme des Garçons, Maison Martin Margiela, Junya Watanabe and more. For those fans, the end-of-season sale is a must hit. IF Soho NY boutique’s so-called Basement Sale is taking place through this Sunday.
This is one of those sales where you need to get there on the first day (the sale started on Thursday). For that reason, we wandered in yesterday evening to see what was left. Apparently, the crowds showed up first thing in the morning. While the space was already thinning out, there were still a few notable deals.
Most sale items are up to 75% off retail. Highlights include a silk flowy Dries van Noten skirt for $400 (orig. $1,600), a Margiela sweater vest for $298 (orig. $995) and tunic for $400 (orig. $1,195), a Watanabe leather jacket for $600 (orig. $2010). More affordable pieces can be had from the Danish brand, Ivan Grundahl, such as tees for under $60 and separates at under $200.
Other deals included footwear by Margiela and Rick Owens, a selection of cutting edge bags and scarves.
Where/When: 94 Grand Street. Through Sunday, Feb 14th; Daily (11am-7pm).
