As Madison Avenue Spy reports, the Manolo Blahnik Manhattan boutique on West 54th Street has started its final markdowns of the season. I stopped into the store on Friday and found lots of styles from the spring/summer collection.
Last week, the sale was still at half off. But this week, we hear that many of the shoes will be discounted up to 75% off retail. The styles in the store include basic and colorful patent leather pumps (which really caught my eye) to more elaborate footwear (such as alligator and shoes from the boutique collection). The pricing is fairly simple to figure out; on the bottom of the display shoes are colored dots, ranging in price from $195 to $350. That’s also where you’ll find the available sizes. Where/When: 31 West 54th Street (b/w 6th and 5Th Aves). Mon-Sat (1030-6p), Sun (Noon-5p). The boutique will periodically close from 2pm to 3pm to restock.
Hi- do they continue to reduce throughout the week?
Lauren – As far as I know, this is the final markdown. Prices are better at the infamous sample sale in the Warwick Hotel (starting at $100) but you’d have to be willing to deal with the long waits and madness.
