After hearing about the Manolo Blahnik end-of-season sale, I thought I’d head over to the boutique on West 54th Street to see what’s left. What I found was an abundant selection of shoes (strappy high heels and sandals, kitten heels and flats… in leather, suede, pony hair, alligator; as well as boots – high and ankle length). Most of the footwear are still at 50-percent off the original retail price but there were also some styles for 60-percent off.

Some of the styles I spotted include the Carolyn 7 slingback pump (was $595, now $297), Hangisi satin pump embellished with a crystal broach (was $945, now $472), the Erratic Mary Jane flannel pump (was $775, now $387), the Henri (was $695, now $347), the Peron boot (was $975, now $487)… better deals can be had on the Frontal suede open toe sandal (was $745, now $298)… and a great black suede knee-length boot, the Khomo, (was $1495, now $598).

If you’ve had your eye on a pair of Manolos, this is a good time to stop in. But you could wait a week or two when the boutique traditionally slashes sale prices to 70-percent off in February. Just a note if you’re planning to stop by… the shop closes to restock daily between 2pm to 3pm.

Where/When: Manolo Blahnik, 31 West 54th St (b/w 5th and 6th Aves). Ongoing. Mon-Fri (10:30-6p), Sat (10:30-6:30p), Sun (12-5p). Closed for restocking daily from 2p-3p.
