The Club Monaco sample sale kicks off today at the Garment District. We managed to check out the deals during the preview on Friday. The sale is taking place at Clothingline on West 36th Street.
On offer are overstock and samples for both men and women. Pricing was pretty good. There’s a variety of clothing including overstock basic tees, tanks and polos ($10), pants ($30), dresses ($40) and more. Most of the blouses, shirts and sweaters ($30) were actual samples. That means size medium or size 6. In addition, much of the blazers and outerwear ($129) were also samples. These hung on racks along the wall.
The ladies had more of a selection at this sale. That said, there were racks of clothing (shirts, pants, blazers and more) in the back for men. Also, available were bins of accessories (bags, belts, socks, ties, scarves and hats) as well as jewelry. The selection in these bins, particularly the handbags ($30-$50) were already picked over.
In a room near the cash registers were a limited selection of footwear, already thinning out by the end of the day. We spotted a couple of styles of Loeffler Randall ballet flats and Rachel Comey wedges ($100) as well as the Club Monaco brand. The sale goes through the week. We expect that they will be restocking.
Where/When: 261 West 36th Street, 2nd Floor, NY, NY 10018; March 3-7 Daily (11am-7pm).

on March 3, 2014 11:12 amHi Carissa - They did have a few leather jackets in the sample section. But nothing that caught my eye. I would suspect that they will be restocking this week since it opens to the public today. If you do stop in, let us know what you find...

on March 3, 2014 2:24 pmHi Kris - I'm sorry. There was a separate price list for men. But I didn't take a picture. I believe the pricing was similar in terms of shirts, bottoms and outerwear.
