The Christian Siriano sample sale taking place in the UES goes through this Sunday, May 7th. Sabrina checked out the deals and has our report:
“I was excited to check out this sale because I’ve followed Christian Siriano since the days of Project Runway and I like his recent collections.
That said, the nice part about the sale is that there is a variety of nice merchandise across seasons and sizes. There were coats, long pants ($75), skirts and capris ($25-$75), casual and dressy tops and dresses ($25 and up), shoes ($75), and a couple pair of boots ($100). There were also tote bags, purses, and wallets which were 50% off the retail price.
For the most part, the quality of the merchandise is good. There are some items that are ripped, in which case you can negotiate further discounts.
While the venue is spacious, the racks were pretty disheveled and disorganized. Also, there are 4-5 makeshift fitting rooms (including a restroom) and there was about a 5 minute wait for a room.
I recommend checking out the sale soon. It was busy, so I suspect that the more fashionable items are moving fast. I’m glad I went when I did. I picked up 2 pair of shoes, 2 pair of capris, a dress, and a top.” Sabrina of Theresa On The Town
