As in years past, Lighthouse International’s 37th Annual POSH Sale is expected to be a mob scene when it opens to the public on Thursday May 14.  All proceeds will benefit the organization’s services for those who are visually impaired.

A couple of fellow bloggers got a special preview of some of the choice offers.  According to The Shophound, there were piles of Chanel, for a few hundred dollars (as opposed to a few thousand), and pieces available from nearly every major designer  you can think of, including Valentino, Oscar de la Renta, Prada, and Marni.  Most of the merchandise is gently worn.

Here’s another preview from Madison Avenue Spy who reports an Oscar de la Renta dress for $150, a Matthew Williamson top for $125 (sure beats H&M) and a vintage Victor Costa for $150. They also found Prada, Chanel and Manolo Blahnik shoes priced from $75 to $100.
