The Bonpoint spring sale ends this afternoon… Last chance at deals for all those chic mothers. But, as Artsy Anna tells us, the sale prices are still trop cher!
“Today I braved one of the rainiest May days in NYC history to attend a sample sale I love/hate. As the mother of a 15 month old little boy, Bonpoint is a brand I love. I absolutely adore the classic French clothes but cringe at the prices. It’s one thing to indulge at the store during a sale but during a sample sale I expect better than retail sale discounts. Sadly, at this sample sale, this is never the case. 60% off is usually enough to get me excited, particularly for a children’s clothing sale but it’s a different story when original prices range $150-400 for most items.

Rebecca Minkoff Sample Sale Line from Monday
We were hoping to check out the Rebecca Minkoff sample sale yesterday (the first day of the sale). But the line after work (pictured above) put us off the long wait. It snaked from 260 Fifth Avenue and went around the block.
While we didn’t make it inside… a few of our readers did. And one of them (thanks, Christina!) sent us her thoughts on the sale along with a couple of photos. She tells us that… “there were tons of M.A.C bags in a variety of colors… tons of Mini M.A.Cs ($125) in white, peach, brown, grey, neon yellow, metallic blue, patent black and more. Plus bigger bags in more unique prints, some with geometrical designs on them and a few really cute small clutches.
