Through the weekend, NYC-based jewelry designer Jill Platner is hosting a sample sale at her Soho boutique on Crosby Street. Jill is not only a jeweler, she’s also a sculptor and you can see the influence in her jewelry – many of the pieces are bold and sculptural.

A busy week for sample sales in New York City… Here’s a few notable ones you may want to check out:
Starting tomorrow, the Jil Sander showroom downtown on Crosby Street is opening its doors for a sample sale which will likely feature pieces from Raf Simons last collection with the brand (Fall 2012). Expect to find items from both the women and men’s collections, including handbags and shoes. Think pastels – a palette of blush pink, coffee, and pale gray dominated the collection. Typically, the discount is 80-85% off retail. Click HERE to see our report of last season’s sale. We do plan on hitting the sale at some point this week – stay tuned for our findings.
