This week is a good time to find deals… with the Holidays over, retailers are now offering final end-of-season sales. We took another look at Barneys since its markdown has dropped to 75% off retail on select items. Larry Label Whore took a look:

“The sale to end all sales is here again! The Barney’s 75% off sale has begun and I was a kid in a candy store going through all the merch inside the Madison Avenue flagship. The difference between this sale and the other high-end department store sales (such as Bergdorf Goodman) is that there are 9 floors of items to go through. It may seem a lot, but for a shop-a-holic like me it’s the best time of the year.

Starting at the main floor, I spied Christian Louboutin spiked wallets in different sizes. Last season the wallets went down 60% off, but this season the discount was only 40% off. They retail for $450 and $460, but went down to $269. There was also a Bally leather bifold wallet mixed in that was down to $139 – a steal for whoever bought it. I didn’t need a new wallet since I just bought a Fendi monster one, but I probably would’ve gotten a Louboutin if I need it.

The next couple of floors did offer the 75% off high-end designers. There were clothes from Balenciaga, Givenchy, Balmain, Saint Laurent, Lanvin, Alexander McQueen, Moncler Gamme Bleu, Thom Browne, and many more. I wanted to buy the whole store, but I held back. In the end, I got a beautiful made in Belgium turtleneck by Dries van Noten for $119 from $450. There were plenty of other stuff I wanted including an amazing Thom Browne sweater blazer with gold buttons at $459 from over $1800, but I just couldn’t buy out the whole store.

Even further up from the designer collections, you’ll find the sportier items that are up to 60% off. Designers there include Hood by Air, Yeezy Season 3, Helmut Lang, Public School, etc… Shoes are also up to 60% off from Louboutin, Saint Laurent, Balenciaga, and more, but the selection is very low plus the discount came out to much less than 60% off.

I stopped at the kids section on the ninth floor because I had to buy my nephew a present for his 7th birthday. I found a great Marcelo Burlon County of Milan long sleeve graphic tee for $39 from $155. I’ve wanted to buy Marcelo Burlon shirts for myself, but they’ve always been too pricey for a shirt.

As you can tell this sale, as always, is amazing! I would run there now before all of the good stuff is gone. Have a great New Year and happy shopping!” – Larry Label Whore
