Cashmere Fans Turn Out for White + Warren

White + Warren fans were up early this morning, looking for deals at the label’s sample sale.  When I stopped by at 8:30 am, the space across Bryant Park was mobbed.   There was already a long line to pay at the cash register.  Most of the shoppers had gathered in the back room where the real deals can be found.  If you’re willing to look through boxes, you can get cashmere sweaters for $35, cotton sweaters for $25, tees for $15, and slippers from $5 to $15. The caveat is that these are samples so sizes are smalls and mediums.  Since these are samples, look carefully at the garment before buying it.  I found tiny holes on two cashmere sweaters and many of the items had pins stuck to them.  Despite that, I found four really nice cashmere sweaters as gifts.  There were plenty of samples and more boxes to put out but the goods were going fast this morning.  Not sure if the supply will hold out through the end of the day.

The main room was plenty busy as well with women looking through the variety on offer.  And there’s a lot.   Classic cashmere; $125 for wraps, $85 for sweaters, $80 scarves and $50 t-shirts for women, $125 v-necks and thermals for men and more.
