One of our avid readers ventured into to the Soho lingerie shop, Kiki de Montparnasse, blowout sale earlier this week. The sale has been extended through Labor Day with an additional 20% off already marked down bras, panties and more. Deme’s report makes us want to head over there and check out the goods. Here’s what she told us:
I went today (Tuesday) and bought a few things… Lounge wear is now $52, bras $36, panties $20. Here are some things I found: the Amour Caftan is now $52 (was $495), the Short Nightporter Romper is also $52 (was $495), and this leather bra is now $36 (was $250).
If you’ve never been to this luxury intimates and bath company, this may be the time to pay a visit. It’s not your average sex shop (yes, they have sex toys and peek-a-boo panties). You’ll also find beautiful lace bras, nighties, body creams and other lovely tame items.

I was there today. It was okay, not amazing. Most of the panty styles left are on the simpler side (mostly solid colored silk thongs with a small mesh panel along the top, panties in the same style but with half the back cut out; they had some pretty white laceyish underwear but only a handful left and all L; they did have quite a bit of ones that looked like this, in black only http://www.kikidm.com/shop/Peekaboo-Panty/?initial=PN7119_BLACK_XS ). There were about 4-5 garter belts left, some racy strappy black underwear but only in XXS and XS. I checked the bras out for sizes 34B, 34A, 36A and B and they were mostly plain silk with the mesh panel, like the underwear mentioned above. There were about 2 or 3 prettier bras in each size, but only 1 of each style. They also had some racy strappy bras that matched the panties mentioned above. A few black lace leggings left. The ONLY accessories/gifts left are a few jelly bath boxes, and some of those are a little beat up. Wish I had hit the sale earlier in the week!
oh, they also had a few tuxedo tanks left and about 3, maybe 4 of the matching boyshort bottoms in black. As far as I remember they were either M or L, nothing smaller.
