A number of designers are hosting charity sample sales this week for Japanese Disaster Relief. If you want to give your support, here’s the ones we know about:
Tonight, designer Maria Cornejo and photographer Mark Borthwick are holding an event to help those affected by the Japan earthquake and tsunami. Mark and Maria will be on hand to sign Zero’s new range of limited edition T-shirts with prints taken by Mark with proceeds going to Doctors Without Borders. The event is at the Zero + Maria Cornejo shop in Noho. Where/When: 33 Bleecker St. Tuesday March 22nd from 6-8pm. If you want to stop in, rsvp: bradley@zeromariacornejo.com.
United Bamboo is also having a sale today at its showroom on Centre Street with all of the proceeds going to unspecified relief efforts. Where/When: 217 Centre St., 6th Floor, Tuesday March 22 and Wednesday March 23 (11-8p).
Phillip Lim has scheduled a sale starting Thursday at his showroom in Chelsea with proceeds going to the American Red Cross. Where/When: 260 W. 39th St, 17th Floor (7th & 8th Aves). Thursday March 24 and Friday March 25 (10-6p).

Any idea what the discount at Phillip Lim will be yet?
Hi P-Markdowns are at least 75% off. Apparently, it’s mostly samples of men’s, women’s, kids, shoes, handbags, jewelry and more. Past season stuff. They told us that there will be “absolutely everything.” Sounds like a good sale if you’re a sample size and its for a good cause.
Thanks Sally! I can’t wait
