The Repetto sample sale started on Wednesday this week at the label’s Soho showroom… Yesterday, I thought I’d see what was left. Surprisingly, they had plenty of footwear up for grabs (a mix of flats, strappy sandals, Mary Janes, and boots) at amazing prices – $20, $40 and $80. The only problem is if you’re NOT a sample size. The offerings are actual samples so most of the sizes are 37s and 40s (a few other sizes are mixed in). The majority of shoes on sale are going for $40 with three boxes filled with samples and out on display. I picked up a pair of booties (gunmetal blue) for $40.
The showroom is also selling off previous season designer goods at 80 percent off the retail price. Labels include Alexander McQueen, Ann Demeulemeester, Lanvin, Rick Owens, Superfine, Tsumori Chisato, Yohji Yamamoto and more. Here are a few pieces I spotted: Lanvin T-shirt for $120, Zero + Maria Cornejo linen top for $93, Alexander McQueen swing short jacket for $300+ and a Tsumori Chisato dress for $250. But I must say that the real deals are on the Repettos… so if you are a fan of the French brand and you’re lucky enough to fit the sample sizes, head over there. Sale ends today at 7pm.

Hi CH – there were small sizes but the selection was really limited. Plus, a lot of what was left weren’t classics (bright colors and odd styles). If you’re in the neighborhood, you might want to check but if the showroom is a trek, I wouldn’t bother.

Thank you for posting about this. I just got back–what good deals! I bought 4 pairs of shoes. A woman who was checking out at the same time as me bought at least 30. Insane!

Fiona – As far as I know, the showroom reps Repetto as well as other labels such as Maria Cornejo. I’d suggest giving them a call to find out if they have any openings. Good luck… and keep us posted!
