Over the weekend, Soiffer Haskin on 33rd Street near 8th Avenue offered additional discounts on Ralph Lauren‘s luxury brands Purple Label & Black Label. The sale started on Friday with 75-percent off on men’s and women’s fall collections… By Sunday, the markdown had gone to 85-percent off retail.
Sunday afternoon, it was no surprise that the space looked picked over with very little men’s merchandise left (just a few shirts, sweaters, ties and sportscoats). As for women’s merchanidse, there were a few styles of sweaters (primarily wraps in camel, pine green and dark gray) and a fair amount of sportswear (tops, skirts, pants, blazers) still hanging on racks.

Monday is the last day of the sale… from the looks of the space this afternoon it’s questionable that there will be much left when they open the doors in the morning.
