A friend just sent a report with photos of the Tracy Reese sample sale in the Garment District. She writes that there are still deals to be had. Here’s what she found:
“…TR many sizes. Spring and summer. Around $100. Best finds are hanging on the sample racks where prices range from $35-$50, sizes are 0 to 4. The selection is limited but there are one-of-a-kind dresses, tops and jackets.”
Friday is the last day of the sample sale. The doors close at 7pm.  Where/When: 260 W. 39th St. , nr. Eighth Ave., fifth fl.; Thru November 20 (9–7).
I was at Tracy Reese around 2 pm. While it was very calm and they had marked down prices inside, I didn’t find anything I liked
and I tried hard! The samples may have been nice but I am not a sample size and even though there was one rack of stuff for my size, it wasn’t very appealing. I only found one item to try on. If you are in the area, I would maybe stop by, but I don’t think I would recommend rushing over for it. Enjoy!
