In the Bowery, the I Don’t Like Mondays Warehouse Sale ends today (Saturday)… Fashionable Femme Jen stopped in yesterday to find a mix of merchandise from a slew of designers, including Alexander Wang, Melissa Shoes, Cheap Monday jeans and more. Here’s her report:
Walking into the I Don’t Like Mondays sale, one is greeted by a table of accessories and a wall of shoes. Jeffrey Campbell has a strong presence in the shoe selection with the Naomi for $184 and the Moondance for $136 in assorted sizes. Stand outs are the Melissa Lady Dragon for $29 in size 5, the Melissa Harmonic for $12 in size 9, the United Nude Elastic Remix in sizes 38 and 40 for $120 and the United Nude Black Abstract for $69 also in Size 40.
On the racks, a mix of recognizable designer wares as well as house brand and indie labels hang. On offer are Bedford Street Laundry swimwear for $53-$55, some T by Alexander Wang items (chunky cropped sweater in XS and S for $178 and a T by Alexander Wang Long sleeve slinky black dress in S and M for $185), and a bunch of Stolen Girlfriends Club chunky knit shorts in grey + black for $109. Gracia makes an appearance at this sale with a cropped leather and lace jacket in S, M and L for about $100 and a color blocked collared dress in L for $37. A couple of the White Suede dresses in size 8 are nice–those run about $225 a piece. A table of Cheap Monday jeans in assorted sizes are available for $49 a pair and I have to mention–Harnesses seem to be a highlight in this sale.
I wouldn’t run to this one, though if you’re a fan of indie brands and happen to be in the area, stop by to see if you can grab a deal!
