Guest Post: Hugo Boss Sample Sale

While I’m away this week… Our in-house label whore, Larry, has been hitting sample sales this week.  Yesterday, he stopped into the Hugo Boss sample sale and filed a report.  He was very disappointed in the men’s selection but he did say there was lots more on offer for women.  Here’s what Larry found:

I went into the sale and I was shocked at how few men’s clothes they had, but they did have a lot of women’s merchandise. I didn’t check out the actual selection for women as I was focusing on trying to find something for myself.  They didn’t even have any shoes for men!  Ladies – you should run to the sale not only for the merch but especially for the shoes. They had different styles of heels (all made in Italy for $59!!) Which I think is a steal. Some of the shoes were around 90-percent off the retail price.

The mens selection was so awful I would suggest going to the department stores or Woodbury Common. Better selection and better prices. I’ve seen much better Boss jackets, shirts, and knits elsewhere. Last years sample sale definitely had better stuff and great prices on the shoes.

Here’s the price list: Mens (All Jackets: $199; Shirts: $49; Knits: $59. NO SHOES!!!); Womens (Trousers: $79; Knits: $59; All Jackets: $199; Dresses: $189; Boots: $109; Heels: $59; Sandals/Flats: $30).
