You’ll find some unique and great pieces at this sale. Clothing from local designers Rachel Antonoff, Samantha Pleet and Lorick are up to 70% off the retail price. Lots of vintage inspired pieces, especially dresses with fun, fab and floral prints. A Rachel Antonoff cotton halter dress with blue floral print and an eyelet collar ($150) caught my eye. Another feminine dress I liked was a Lorick design (around $150), which had a quirky print. I overheard a fellow shopper admiring a Lorick pant ($75) in white cotton textured fabric, saying that it would be perfect for her trip to Chile this summer.
For the fellas — pants, shorts, and button-downs from Timo Weiland and Conference of Birds for less than $99. Jewelry by Dirty Librarian Chains was also on sale – some pieces were slashed down to $20.
This was one of the most welcoming and friendly sales I’ve been to lately. As I walked into the spacious airy loft in Chinatown, a group was sitting around a large table uncorking a Champagne bottle. I walked into what felt like a large living room. Parlor Showroom owner, Taylor Thomas, offered me and the other shoppers a glass of the bubbly to enjoy while we browsed. Shopping and Champagne! A nice way to wind down after a long week at work.

Where: Parlor Showroom, 7 Mercer St., at Howard St., 2nd flr. thru Sun May 31 (11-6pm)
