Etiquette Clothiers, a company that offers underthings (including socks) for both grown-ups and the little ones is hosting a sale in Soho. While the line offers undergarments for the entire family, it’s the brand’s kids and baby socks that are the highlight of the line. Think basic solids and stripes in a variety of bright colors. Fashionable Femme Jen checked out the sale yesterday and found great deals on socks:
A couple of bins of socks, a shelf of men’s undershirts and a rack of mixed items near the door is the extent of the Etiquette sample sale at their Soho office. In the bins, there are adult loose sock pairs (orig $18-$26) for $6 and packaged pairs for $8. Kids socks (orig $16) go for $6 (with packaging) or $4 (without packaging). I spot a couple variations of the Abbey Stripe, the Needle Stripe and the Polka Dot print.
For men, size M tanks (orig $34) in white and sky blue heather are available for $10 a pop as well as ash grey heather, black or white V-Neck shirts (orig $44) for $15 each. While there are plenty of socks, only a few undergarment pieces remain for men, women and children at the end of sale day 1. I do see a few classic bodysuits for infants (orig $26) in a heather purple and sky blue heather and women’s classic briefs in the same colors, both for $8 each. There are also a couple basic camis and henlys available. Near the door, a couple bins of patterned Men’s briefs–mostly size M–for $10 each (orig $32) block the entry way.
All in all, the sale is good for those in the area and looking for socks–or for men who wear a size medium, looking for pastel print “fashion” underwear. Otherwise, the most impressive thing about this sale may be the location. The modern art pieces on display (inside the building) on the way to the Etiquette office are quite interesting, and may even be more exciting that what’s on offer at the sale itself!
