While stopping into an art opening in Soho last night, Fashionable Femme Jen poked her head into the Courtshop in Nolita on Mulberry. There she found deals on denim and more:
Tables, boxes and racks of jeans have been marked down for Courtshop’s denim sample blowout. A rack of spring 2012 apparel is also on final sale with a sign that instructs shoppers to deduct an extra 10% off. Denim of all cuts (short, long, straight, flared, tapered) and washes (light, medium, dark, colored), are up for grabs at dramatically reduced prices.
There was only one other shopper in the store, when I walk into Courtshop Wednesday evening. On the rack of mixed seasonal sale merchandise, I spy the black Stella print dress for $135 (orig. $298) and a comfy looking black sweatshirt with a skull on it. Colorful cloth wrapped bangles for $10 each sit on a cubby displaying jewelry. However, the star of this sale is definitely denim. Jeans in all sizes from 24 to 32 are stacked high on tables and piled generously into boxes. Ali shorts are tagged at $40 (orig. $130). Brie shorts in assorted washes can be had for $45 (orig. $143). A pair of High Waist Skinny jeans, OD Tulip jeans or the Charlie jean will each set you back $58 (orig. $117-$157). There are many true samples at this sale. Everything out on the tables is $58, and roughly 50-70% off original price. The best bargains are potentially found in the sample boxes, where items can be found for $20-$60. Fans of Courtshop and wearers of high waisted denim should stop by to stock up before the sale ends tomorrow evening!
